Cards are issued in seconds, work in 150+ countries, and can be topped up from any crypto wallet. We've been on the market for 3+ years, with a distributed team of 40+ people worldwide and no micromanagement.
We're looking for a Lead Platform Engineer to take ownership of our platform and infrastructure security and bring it to production maturity.

What you'll be doing
- AWS: networking, IAM, segmentation, encryption, secrets management, security hardening
- Cloudflare: DNS, WAF, perimeter protection
- Kubernetes (EKS) + Helm charts: operating and evolving our existing cluster
- Terraform: bringing IaC to a single standard and eliminating manual changes
- CI/CD: pipelines, releases, staging environments
- Observability: metrics, logs, alerts, clear on-call processes and incident response
- Security and compliance: preparing controls and evidence for PCI DSS and SOC 2 Type 2 audits, remediating findings
What matters to us
- Production experience with AWS and Kubernetes at owner level, not just user level
- Terraform in production — infrastructure as code done properly
- Experience at a product company where infrastructure was your area of ownership
- Experience going through a PCI DSS or SOC 2 Type 2 audit
- English good enough to explain infrastructure and compliance decisions to non-engineers
Nice to have
- GitOps (ArgoCD / Flux), HashiCorp Vault
- Policy-as-code (OPA / Kyverno), service mesh (Istio / Linkerd)
- Trivy, Snyk — scanning and supply-chain security
- FinOps / AWS cost optimisation, Karpenter
- Experience operating Python/Django applications
- An established on-call and postmortem process
